Rosemont Country Club was built on the plot provided by scottish67. The main aesthetic inspiration was Old Elm Club north of Chicago. Other inspiration courses include Llanerch (outside Philly, mainly for the creek), Chicago Golf Club, and Southern Hills, among others. Shoutout to Q, JickinWings, bighockeyguy, and nogoal05 for being an enthusiastic group of teammates and to staypuft39 for replying whenever I checked to make sure he was still alive. It was a pleasure working with you all.

This course was great. It took an inspiration I'd never heard of and encouraged me to try to read everything I can find on Old Elm. Totally a unique look, with some wild greens that really stop and make you consider the options of approaches you can hit in.

The subtle use of slopes both on the driver landing zone and the greens is so good here. Definitely felt the Southern Hills inspiration along the creek, especially when I pulled a Mito getting greedy on Hole 9. But 8 is probably my favorite hole on the course and 14 is a close second.

What a course this is. Very well done. Played it four times now which actually tells me this is my favourite DT course so far. Love the environment and the open feel of the course.
