Hello all.
I submitted a new course for download yesterday... Stillwater Valley Golf Club.
I took a screenshot when publishing... However, I would like to take several more CLEAN screenshots (without any meter, Huds, indicators, etc...) Just the image itself.
I somehow managed to do this with my prior course submission and they can be seen for that course... but I don't recall what I did to get those screenshots.
Is there a free roam camera mode for the PS5 and an option to take random screenshots?
What is the best way to do this?
And if so, how do I make them available for use in the TGC Tours course details page?
THANKS

There is no free roam camera mode on console, sadly.
And there's really no convenient way to get a totally clean screen on console, either. You can remove some HUD details in the settings, and then aim with scout cam when playing a round to get a bit more cleaner look.
I think there are also ways to get better shots within the course designer, since you can remove most of the design tools on the screen in there. But still, there will always be something on the screen, I think.
The course detail page screenshots are taken by the TGCT photographer, Vic. So you don't need to submit any yourself, and there isn't really a way to do that as far as I know.

Oh. Ok. That's good to know. But definitely an oversight for the console version.
Well, at least there are some screenshots...(I just noticed a few in there that I didn't take so good to know).
I just noticed a forum thread where people show their courses in progress so wanted to share a few from time to time as I'm working on one.
thanks for the info

You just need a way to get the pictures from the game to a website that can host it. I use imgBB for that. You need the URL of the image, click the little picture button in the toolbar above the box where you write a post here, post that URL into the box that asks for it, and you'll get this (this came from my PS4, hence the yellow boxes as this is when you're looking for your publish screenshot): I used to share images from the game to Twitter, but that PS-to-Twitter/X connection is no longer a thing. I have heard that you can use the PlayStation app as well to get your screenshots online, but I've never tried that myself.

You can get clean shots on console. What you need to do is go into the course in the designer and turn off everything in difficulty and HUD settings that causes any display on the screen. Shot feedback, swing timing, aim and pin marker, green grids etc, just turn everything off.
Then "playtest from here" about 50 yards back from around where you want to take the picture from. Go to scout cam. If there is anything on your screen you haven't turned something off in the settings. Position the picture in scout can and take a screenshot (I find selecting pitch or flop shots allows you to more easily navigate to exactly where you want to get the shot from). I then send th screenshot as a message to myself and can access it on the PlayStation app, and from there I upload to Imgur for sharing.
The only restriction is: because you can't go into free cam mode you can only take shots where you can direct the scout cam to, so no high overhead shots.
Below are a couple shots taken on my PS4, can get excellent results.

Thankfully I’m on pc, that’s too much work 🤣 You're not wrong. But the benefit of my PS4 is I can kick back on the couch at night with a controller in my hand planting flowers or something rather than having to sit at my desk where I've got the computer set up.

Make sure you check all options in both difficulty and HUD settings. If you can't figure out how to get rid of everything then maybe post a screenshot of what is on the screen and I'll take a look.
Thanks! Top photo is Warrigal Reserve, middle is Cormac's Bluff, and bottom one is my current work in progress, might get it finished in the next few weeks.
