Welcome to Cockermouth LinksThis was built on the links plot put together by Matty. Here's his rules: The area marked with cartpath is to be a village. (I made a village) The course needs to start/end somewhere along the village. (I started the course at the village) All sand textures must remain. (They remain) The church/stone wall area is OB. (It is OB) The castle ruins are marked off and no part of the course may go there. (The course gets as close as was allowed) The dunes area marked off in mulch, only 5 greens can go there. (Greens 6, 9, 10, 11, and 12) No crossing the estuary to the island, it is off limits. (Noted) No additional large sandy waste areas can be added to the course. (Fine) The estuary, church/cemetery, and ruins area can all be touched up if desired. (Done) Sculpting is allowed for tees/green slopes, but try to avoid any large sculpting moves. The plans for this course were done in the 1800s, they wouldn't have been shifting around much dirt. (I did cut back two dunes, on 13 and 14, because members decided there was slightly too much blindness in Old Tom's original design. But the dirt moved now forms a couple of humps and bumps in the near vicinity. I did also make some mountains outside the course boundaries.) That's about it really. Course is a Par 70, 6460m long from the tips. Supports plenty of ground game. When the wind gets up it can become quite a handful. Thanks to ryanmcconnell , patlouvar , Sleepypanda7 , sebk , and TeeeJ9798 , Ryno's Roughnecks, for being great team mates. Enjoy!

Simple and simply well done. Loved the x6 par 3s which was a different touch which worked well. Thanks for designing!

Some fun and quirky holes here, which I wouldn't expect any less from a Strangi course. Loved the use of the yellow planting. I also liked your use of the coast line and wish it was utilized even a bit more directly, but I also know this was a tricky plot. Good job!

Really fun course man, loved how you were able to build super unique/quirky holes that felt simple and intuitive. The par 5's were a real highlight, particularly on the 2nd shot. Felt like a course that would be a blast to play in real life. Good work, and best of luck in the contest (though i hope you get 2nd lol)

Sorry strangi17 for the late playthrough. Still playing catch up with lots of play throughs. Thought it was nicely done with plenty of room to have a slash.
