Sitting 21st in the TGCT standings, I am guaranteed a spot in the US Open. That being said, I have yet to pick up a win on any tour yet coming a close 2nd losing out by 1 shot about a month ago on the PGA. I am putting myself up against the wall and hopefully it will bring the best out in me for this big tournament.
My challenge is this. If I don't win the US Open, I will take a 2 week self imposed sabbatical from all TGC Tours play (haven't missed a week yet). Call me crazy but this is what I am doing. Not only this but I will twitch all my rounds with my chat open while I play on PS4.
I will have more on what dates I will play in the coming days. Hopefully the update is out by then (global wind for all tourneys) to make this as fair as possible to all participants.
Stay tuned for more info.

You're putting too much pressure on yourself Tim.

You're putting too much pressure on yourself Tim. If there isn't any pressure, why play? That's what competition is all about.
Step 1 is complete though. With over 700 plays on PS4, I was able to set the course record today at Elmview at -10

Competition is about pressuring yourself. It's about not getting pressured. Pressure = nerves. Nerves = jitters. Jitters = disappointment

You might shoot the greatest round of your life but you cannot control what others may shoot. Relieve the pressure and have some fun

Hold on a second, you are a +15 handicap? That is absolutely ridiculous. Also, great job on that ace on 6!

I fully understand your desire to put the pressure on yourself. I'm in the 30s, have a 2nd and a 4th. Never really thought about winning a tourney but my consistency after my surgery has been nothing short of an epic failure. If it isn't being able to keep the ball in the fairway it is the inability to putt. It is amazing how much feel this game takes and when you have lost that feel it becomes so incredibly frustrating.
I took the last three weeks off due to this and I'm hoping i'll be up for the US Open but you can't hurry healing i guess.

Good luck Tim. You sure picked a ridiculously hard tournament to win, that course can eat you up. You're certainly good enough to win any tournament you play in, you've beat me as much as I've beat you when we play together, the games are always close. I'm surprised that you haven't won one yet, but have no doubt that you will. Are you going to have two weeks of being a superhero if you don't win?

There are a ridiculous amount of good players out here. We will see how it all shakes out.
I know I won't be going to Tiger Woods swing coach for advice!

I should have a schedule out for when I will play my rounds tomorrow. With all the kids sporting events/after school activities don't want to commit to times not knowing everything.
If I make the cut pretty sure I will do my final 2 rounds on Friday then Saturday night probably around 6-8 PM EST

Not sure what I am doing now as it sounds like wind waiting will be back in full force after the switch was flipped off by HB.
