I might aswel open this seeing as it's my home tournament, hit 57 in round 1 then 65 and 62 and again the wind was a major factor in my scoring, in round 3 I didn't think I was able to get up in 2 it was that strong into.

I was happy after i shot 58 in Round 1 but then my typical luck hit me and i shot 66, 62, 60 for Round's 2, 3 and 4.
Wind wasn't a major factor (although it was high). It was mainly my putting which is very inconsistent.

Rd 1 - 60. Dodgy start. 10 birds in a row from 7-16.
Rd 2 - 60. Solid but nothing particularly exciting.
Rd 3 - 63. This one was annoying. Missed two putts of less than 6 ft, also hit a perfectly straight putt too hard and it bounced over the hole, then on the next hole left one an inch short.
Rd 4 - 60. See Round 2
Wind 7-15mph in all 4 rounds but don't think it really affectedmy scoring.
-45 has an outside shot at Top 25 which is what i usually aim for.
Gotta say, playing a tournament which uses the same course for all 4 rounds got a bit dull after 2 rounds. Really makes me appreciate the 4 pin setups which add so much to the whole experience IMO.
Still a nice course though.

Finished -45 as well, which is a nice upturn for me given recent weeks! All rounds were in pretty heavy winds, but it is a Links course after all.
Enjoyed the course - with very light winds you could get a silly score, but much more of a fun test in 12+mph winds!

59,57,60,60. Should have been way lower, but it seems to be like that lately on whatever tour that I play on.
I just don't seem to be able to get the best out of my rounds at the moment? Should be good enough for a top ten though I guess?
I think that the course is great, but is too easy IMO to be used on the European tour. Looking at the scores on both tours, I think I chose poorly this week as the scores are way more reasonable over on the PGA tour. I miss way too many putts to contend in birdie fest tournaments.
Good luck to those yet to play. Nice shooting by Mike Ballon on the PC this week. I don't know the scores on other systems.

This is the other thing about the upcoming tournament winds change I'm looking forward to. With summer coming, my playing time is much more limited. So it isn't unheard of for me to have one night free where I just bang out all four rounds. At least with the tournament winds, each round would likely be in slightly different conditions, which makes it a bit more engaging. Playing multiple rounds back to back in the same conditions, I find you just kind of go on auto-pilot for a bit, you stop concentrating, and then make some sloppy/hasty mistakes.

Good first round -14,then i went out and got drunk, came home and stupidly turned the xbox on, played round 2 and rage quit during round 3 and fell asleep. Woke up the next day angry that i played drunk, but i soldiered on none the less to fire -21 for the last 25 holes to finish -50 for the week.
NOTES TO SELF: - In future play all 4 rounds prior to a heavy session to prevent any embarrassment. - Rage quitting is not cool.

I get angry and rage quit at things like missing a 4 footer. I will actually quit a round because of that. That's how bad i am, i can't help it.

Nice and low shooting, but unfortunately not low enough to win it. At least Mr.Sweeney knows why. Great shooting as well Ian. Especially the third Round was amazing. Played your Ghost on PS4 and was positively shocked about the -13 between Holes #9 & #18. Thumps up & Kudos! I wish all those yet to play good luck, too.

I ended up -40 after 4 rounds. I just didn't like the course and going back to those soft greens is despairing. Shots that you expected to go close would end up 20ft away, and those you expect to have made a mess of ended up quite nice. There just seemed to be no consistency in what the shots were doing.
Onwards to next week. I spy a sexy 4 pin, fast and hard set up! Nice.

That kind of wind waiting gets u DQ'd i think. Or i suppose you could ask if they will move the holes closer if u prefer it easy, im sure they wouldnt mind. Lol. Jokin apart it is just bad luck at the minute. Cant wait for the wind update to resolve the issue.

Says The Voice Of Golf. Not on a slippery slope.

At least he believes in you. I'll have a relatively straightforward 8 footer and always seem to get "Pretty sure you can two putt this".
