So found nice flat sided rock face which clearly for cliff edge but sink it on water edge gives lovely waterside edge. Although would horrible to hit it for golfers as god knows where it would bounce.
For sure this could ease plant meter when designing rocky cliff now. Before you had to use loads of rocks to get the effect or just accept and use huge rocks out of focus which did not look right.
Although not massive update in terms what designers wish for something to make cliffs better and less labour or meter intensive is good thing.

The best part is that there are more colors now too.

There are some lovely sandstone coloured rocks I'm using on a delta course now.
They work a treat

Those new rocks are just calling out for someone to do a Grand Canyon themed course!

Me too! The Great Aussie Journey could have done with Ayres rock being done properly. Tasmania has Cape Pillar that would have used the long square ones. Then there is the bungles that would have been perfect for the sandstone ones.

Nice ideas I also wondered if you could do stonehenge with some of new pillar straight rocks.
I just watched crazy cannuck video highlighting all new assets with new trees we got and new stuff we getting later date sounds very exiting.
I did wonder if we would go modular at some point those who got planet coaster and see how modular there designer for building style.
I have wondered if HB would introduce a way of we can combine assets and save them on your hard drive so you can use the item multiple times. As example my knights in my new course currently working on if I could combine assets and save them it would save time.
Which in some ways new rocks look like they better to design so may have to redo them. Mind it would save plant meter as it took over 20 rocks stepped each leg.
Noticed new flat rocks look really good for stepped waterfalls.

Good to see 2K/HB adding some new objects at last. I agree, some of the new rocks are quite nice. Especially the ones that can make a cliff face. Some of the larger rocks do use a bit more resource quota. Will be nice to see how designers make use of these for new/better effects. I am importing over a couple more of my 2K21 courses soon utilising the new rocks in places.
Also, the other coloured canvas walls are back. The quarter circle curb piece in Furniture > Misc could use the company of some straight sections too! What about cars for use in background without all the quota sucking interiors, and maybe a few more SUVs, trucks etc? Good to see some progress and competition in this game space. Cheers
