Played R1 and R2 in comparable strength winds... but completely opposite directions. 10 shot difference between the two rounds for me... and I'll be shocked if I make the cut. Cannot wait for the round by round wind change to come into being.

Pretty good showing in my first round of my first week on tour, not so great second round. Both were in 10+ mph winds, though they seemed a tad stronger in the second round. I need more practice overall, I left too many shots out there
66, 71

After 9 consecutive cuts made, it seems I'm not going to make it this time... Not being a big fan of the course - as mentioned elsewhere - I still managed to finish R1 with an unspectacular, but solid round of 66... if there wasn't that disastrous Double Bogey on Hole #8 (Par3). So finally a 68 (-4) for R1. Maybe I was too pissed from that and should have stopped playing at that point. But I didn't. So R2 became even worse. With almost everything going wrong (mostly from my side; especially putting), I finished the round with an extremely dissapointing 71 (-1). I'd be rather suprised if -5 would still be enough to make it into the weekend. And honestly, I wouldn't deserve it. My putting was so bad that I decided that I have to change something. New "grip" on my controller now, practised a bit... and just out of fun, I played R3 and R4 of the tourney. And now comes the funny part: R3: 63 (-9) R4: 62 (-10) With that average, I would probably have made at least a Top20-result. Oh well...

Oh wind, wind please hurry and come for all to play. Shot a 66 -6 1st round, just wanted to repeat that but fell short with a 69 -3....
So -9 through 2 rounds I dunno if that will get me to Saturday. Hoping the cut is -8 atleast. Only reason I think it could be that low is cause the top 30 Euro players are on PGA this week. I'm on the bubble and like you edie Vedder I got a good little streak going.

I'm a little on the fence about this course. On one hand, if you can hit the correct area on the greens, you can usually putt for birdie. However it seems there are several areas on some greens that have the look of a straight putt, but often veer the ball left or right of the hole. You really have to look closely at the hole to see if it is sloping one way to get the correct read. I know on number eighteen, the hole is slanted and you have to play your break a few more inches out.
I got lucky with low winds for R1, R2. In practice with high winds (15mph)I stunk it up.
I have not played R3, R4 because i hate doing more than two rounds in a row. I am at -13 so it seems that should make the cut.

On the 18th Green/Pin it is more than obvious.

Im gonna make the cut and probably come in dead last of those that do, bombed the last two rounds. Really really poor by myself, but I feel as though the designer took advantage of the fact of putting holes on subtle slopes that the green grid cannot judge.

If that's the case, it wasn't on purpose. I don't really like this course because it's only an update of one of my older courses I designed before I really had a good grasp of using the GNCD. I wish another course had been used for this event because it's not up to my standards of courses I design now.

Imo, this is an excellent and under-utlilized way to make tour set ups of courses. You actually have to read the putt, not just rely on the aid. A bit frustrating in normal play, maybe, but on the top level tours we should be able to handle it.

Subtlety was cool but I felt they were pushing subtle but not showing up on green grid, but I was playing like crap so who knows

Shot a 64 and a 65 (-15) for my first 2 rounds in my debut in a Euro Tour tournament. Surprised at my play really. My practice rounds have been crap. I think me best round in practice was -4 lol. Like others have said, just couldnt get use to the speed of the greens in relation to the breaks. These greens reminded me of Valhalla in Tiger '14 with all of the subtle breaks.

Just finished the last 2 rounds and it was a struggle to say the least. Very frustrating. Not to mention the winds were up above 10mph constantly, and most of the time closer to 15mph. Couldnt get the ball anywhere close in round 3, and when I did, I didnt make any putts. Round 4 was much of the same. Scrambling around trying to save par. I shot 72 and 69 for my last 2 rounds. -18 for the tournament.

Very frustrating course in my opinion. Again I find myself in awe at the performances of some of the other players/ghosts. I should probably turn them off, but I always just go with it. Just about to start round 4, and I am at -6. The ghosts are -30, -28 & -25 lol. What chance ya got lol
