On my last golf course I kind of worked out how to deal with unintentional blindness (UB) with several of the holes (Medomsley Marsh Beta2) but with long breaks from golf design the knack of doing it disappeared. I've given up on this course now because there are other problems with it too which would of meant giving it a total overhaul so I decided to create a new one but working on one hole and trying to get rid of the UB I've deleted the hole several times to try and get it right but failing every time.
I've scoured the internet on finding tutorials on youtube specifically on UB but found none. I suppose I could check many youtube videos that may contain a UB tutorial but this would take me a while as it would be trial and error. So, does anyone know of any tutorial specific to UB or tutorials of other aspects of design that also contains a tutorial on UB? I don't want to be told to look at all the crazycanuck1985 tutorials to find a tutorial on UB; only the tutorials that definitely contain something about UB

The honest answer is that if you're not sure how to fix unintentional blindness, you definitely need to watch all of Andre's tutorials. It's a pretty fundamental issue.

The simplest explanation is the following diagram. The black line is the fairway with the tee on the left and the green on the right. The red line is the view to the green if there is nothing in the way. The blue line is the actual sightline given the hill on the fairway blocking the view of the green (whether you intended the blindness or not). So the orange circle at the top near the tee box may be called unintentional blindness because you may not be able to see the front of the green, but the green circle is where the (unintentional) blindness occurs. Lets assume it's a par 4 and you can see the landing area off the tee (being the flat bit of the fairway). The green would then be blind over the hill. Understand? So how do you fix it? Edit, Sculpt Land, Landscape Flatten, choose the blue fuzzy brush and drop it down about a foot. Then everything in the red box click around starting at the highest point and work your way up and down until you can see the green from the tee. Blindness gone!

The actual hole I was working on I got rid of the UB soon after writing the above. I just used the fuzzy brush to flatten out areas but I also used the rectangle and placed it over the tee area with plenty space and raised the area about 6ft and because I raised it with plenty space it still looked natural.
I will look at Andre's tutorials but do all of them contain something about UB?

We've all been through all of them when starting out (multiple times for most) - no shame there!

What is the link to these tutorials as I've scoured the internet with no results?
