Thats, crazy. I click on a link that specifically says to register CLICK on the link. And Im still not in? SMH, this stuff is to serious around here. I wonder how many players did the same thing? edit- it actually was a big RED link labeled (Click to ACCEPT invitation) that I obv. Clicked on and thats not enough? Are you kidding me? The top 64 players were able to figure this out last week for the match play championship as everyone accepted. Same setup

*sigh* I can't wait until wind waiting is no longer a part of this tour.

Ok, maybe I didnt understand the Click to ACCEPT Invitation. When it should of said, Click to See Invitation or something of that sorts. I've missed every big tourney this year and now im ranked 43 on WGR and now im missing this one. It's kind of frustrating!

I wasnt in the top 64 invited for the WGC. That's his point. Saying in that the top 64 had no issues figuring it out.

I can understand where Gringo is coming from. The red button link inside the email did say "Click to ACCEPT Your Invitation". Now most of us clicked it and saw it was the Accept website and figured it out from there. In this case, Gringo did not. So perhaps the link shouldn't say that exact phrasing as some may think it automatically registers you. We can sit here and say "Well, everybody else figured it out." But the truth is, sometimes each of our minds go in different directions based on what we see or hear.

Missed cut and probably done with the game for a little while, don't want to play when the game is so random.
The wind seems to effect everything in an exagrated way even 6ft flat putts and when most shots go in the opposite direction of the shot indicated in the cone it's done.
Despondant is an understatment.

I'd say I'm happy to be in the Major, but I'm a competitor. After expecting to be out of the tourney after being +2 on my first 4 holes, I buckled down and shot a 63 for Round 1. And that was with ANOTHER bogey. So I could've been 12-under. What saved me is having two eagles on Par 5s with smart approach shots bouncing the ball up. My furthest eagle attempt was 17 feet.
Round 2 wasn't so hot, shooting a 65. So now I wait and see if 16-under is enough to make the Top 70. Since I have plenty of golf to play in another tour, I will wait and see if I can finally make a cut where it matters.

Finished round one at -11 with a rather disappointing bogey. Putting may not have been changed but the new FPS or whatever it is for PC really has messed me up. I had a 2 foot putt, did what I thought was a tap stroke for a birdie and suddenly am putting 20 foot back for a par. Missed it of course... Should have been -13. Ah well.
Round two seems more difficult than round one. More longer iron shots into the greens.
So much seems to have changed. Everything to wind effecting shots more, slope causing more hook/fade. One thing I definitely (and that HB did say they increased) is the penalty for non-perfect shots. If you fade/draw/loft/deloft and miss a perfect shot you lose more distance it seems from the shot AND if you miss left/right the penalty for missing that seems more exaggerated by hitting more right/left. I'm not saying this is a bad thing, just different and taking a little more to get used to.
All that being said, one thing that has not been fixed is ball squirt. It is more prevalent than ever!

Back on Topic now... Shot an opening round 59....now wind waiting for Round 2 Wish I would have done this lol! But I didn't think I'd have much time the rest of the week to finish so I went ahead and played in the 14-17mph winds. Hurt big time as I only managed a -1 in Rd. 2 after a -9 in Rd. 1. To be honest, I kind of just gave up half way through Rd 2 because the wind is just no fun at that point. Finished off rounds 3 and 4 with a decent -8 and -7 but that 2nd round killed me.

I would say great playing shooting -11 in this new much harder game that seems to have come out with the update... You must have one of the best short games there is with the ball going all over the place like that in the long game.

I drive him nuts with it Not sure what is meant by 61% Currently -11 is tied for 14th
