Hey guys, Messing around in the designer with a plot that will probably never see the light of day, but trying to get something that loosely resembles Olympic club. Haven’t found a good LiDAR or RCR that really gets it right (maybe someone can point me in the right direction). I’m curious if it’s possible to get the trees looking similar or if anyone has had success with it. There are a few trees that match the style but the cypresses in this game are all an ugly neon green color that doesn’t really look right imo. Oaks and pines are a bit closer but struggling to get an idea. Maybe combining multiple trees is the only way to go? I’ve attached a few images and if anyone can point me in the right direction it’d be much appreciated. images for general idea:

Check out "La playa del diablo". There are some oversized African trees in there using bushes as branches. Might give you some inspiration.

Or Del Monte Heights would be a good one for inspo for this kind of look This helped a lot. Still very early experimenting around but this is the best I’ve been able to do so far using the dead trees/cedars for the base and combining them with the dark green bushes. Still working to get it look just right without being able to tell the bushes are up there but think this is definitely closer. Maybe one day HB will allow us to advanced edit plants lol.

Kind of off topic but does anyone know a good way to measure tree height? Set time of day to noon. Set inclination to 45 degrees. Measure shadow length.

You can also drop a clubhouse or regular house and put the tree up next to it. A 2 story house should be roughly 20’-25’ tall. If the tree is higher than the building it’s probably too big
