This week we are featuring Head Island by staypuft39 which was an entry into the Dream Team design competition. This course is based on an idea Pufty has had for a while to create a course with Easter Island-esque feel. Mad man. The course features zero bunkers and is only 6800 yards. Piece of cake right? We'll see. You will be battling plenty of elevation changes and some interesting shots to be played out there. Good luck!

After 6 holes I was thinking I should have just taken the week off sitting at +2, but I managed to claw it back to -7. Still gonna need a great second round to have a chance of making the cut I think. Usually I target -20 as a benchmark. Will see how tomorrow goes.

Hi all, New here, after (finally) scoring my fifth red thingy in Platinum last week; was there since Qualifying school but since we moved to Pro, me and my faulty putter had no business being there... Enjoyed my first two rounds here; liked the course a lot. Played well but missed too many short putts... Round 1: -11 Round 2: -9 Halfway: -20 No idea whether that's anywhere near making the cut... Wow. This week, it was down then up for me.
Round 1 was horrible. Constantly underestimated the wind and elevation (playing by feel didn't help here), leaving myself a bunch of rather challenging putts. Started with 13 pars and a lonely birdie to sit at -1 through 14 holes. Then something clicked fortunately, and I finished R1 with -5, before adding -14, -11, -15 in the remaining three rounds.
Hopefully, -19 makes the cut, so that I get rid of that demo mark from last week.
Cheers and good luck all!

-10 second round, started rubbish again then shot -9 on the back 9. Not sure -17 will be enough to make the cut but it should avoid a demo mark at least.

Not my cuppa tea of a course, I had to battle, did enjoy the no bunkers though Bogey in each round (as per normal) is once again what is potentially going to cost me making yet another cut , different Tour, same outcome -7 & -10 = -17, squeeze's in at present, but ultimately think I'm missing out by a couple. Oh well, onto next week to try again. Good Luck all, play well.

Don’t know what Pufty is using to cut his holes, but the amount of times my ball rolled over the edge this week was insane. This course is such a challenge even though it’s all right out in front of you. Really good test for the tours.

Just fell out of the cut, but no red marks which is good. Ordinary week for all golf for me, played like crap in my real rounds last weekend as well.

I'm back! Missed the cut by a shot, but had a hole in one in round 2, so that's something. The course was a stout test and I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge. Just happy to be home.
