Hello everyone, I was not sure in the forums where to post this but just wanted to do a little introduction as I am someone who has waited for the retail version of the game after just learning about it a couple of weeks ago. I am super excited to get started on TGC Tours and was hoping to learn a little bit about the game and this awesome website! What was the learning curve like for you on this game? I am an above average golfer in real life (7 hcp) but have not played a golf video game since TW 13. How long do you think it will take for me to reach a position on TGC where I should begin Q-School? Any beginners tips for me when I pick up the game on Tuesday? Anything to help get me on track to be an elite player at the game that you wish you knew sooner? I am super excited to be an active member of this community, it looks amazing! Thank you, DG

Thank you, DG I jumped in Q-School to early. I had played the game about 2 weeks when I did. I had not learned much yet. I am about a week out of Qschool now and have learned so many things on the mechanics and shots that I wish I would have waited. However, even so the competition is ridiculous here. Even in Champion B the scores are super low at the top of the leaderboard (4 rounds like -20 to -40). It really does not matter where you start. Its all about getting top 10 finishes, Top 5 finishes, and wins. You want to accumulate as many as possible. You will receive exemptions to move up a level for a tournament , then try your hand there. Depending how you perform you will move up in class. So just jump in and get started. The best way to learn may be under fire. I have been in game about 110hrs. So that might show you. My results wont necessarily equal your results however.
