Since i am a real klutz in the GNCD, i have all kinds of respect for everyone that designs, creates or whatever they feel that they need to do with this amazing creative tool that has been supplied to all by HB Studios. That said, i really would like folks to take a "serious" look at the courses that they publish. The GNCD, allows you to create within your own world and that is where i leave that...........JMHO.....

When seagulls follow the trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea. JMHO...

I find checking the reviews is helpful. I made my first course eagle hills. And guess what way to many hills but as designers we have to fail sometimes to create a truly great course. It takes practice and not everyone will like your work. I also find the people who play golf in real life make better courses cause they have a better grip what's really out there not some unrealistic fantasy course even though some people like courses like that. Just my two cents. Cheers

What I meant to add up there sorry was new designers sometimes can over look the smallest detail which in turn can ruin a course even if they spend weeks shaping that hole. The best tip given to me was release a beta first play it under all variables have friends play and send feedback so changes can be made to the final product took three courses for me to learn that my new course coming soon has taken over a month because of the pursuit of perfection.

Sure, i agree with what you say, however what i was really referring to was folks that submit their first/second designs to tours for review. If folks feel that they have a course worth publishing then publish to HB forums.."Courses Completed" section, or to the "Completed Course" section here. After receiving feed back from the members, then they should decide whether or not to submit the course for review as possibly hosting a tour event. Don't get me wrong, the opportunity is there for everyone to have their courses critiqued by all members of both forums. The simple fact is, that there are folks who are submitting courses to "tours" that have been auto generated and created in a couple of hours. These are the type of courses that i am talking about and again, i am not putting anyone down for their creations, just simply some folks really need to evaluate their work, before submitting it as a possible tour course.......JMO, keep designing.........Cheers
