Now published is The Rusty Can. Set in Northwestern Montana, The Rusty Can is a Par 72 that stretches to 7,479 yards with hundreds of feet of elevation changes. The default settings are good for course conditions and the prevailing wind is Southwest. Different winds will create different scoring conditions and a nice afternoon round will provide some really neat lighting effects. As for the course itself, here are some highlights below.
6. Par 3 - 208 Yards The first par three on the opening nine is 30 feet downhill over the valley into an undulated green surrounded by several bunkers. 7. Par 5 - 623 Yards The long Par 5 7th can become reachable with a tailwind, but if not, two accurate shots are required to set up a precise wedge into one of the largest greens on the course. When laying up, it’s important to leave a good angle into a green that is surrounded by trouble. 14. Par 4 - 475 Yards Despite its length, the 14th gives you a wide fairway that must be hit in order to hit the green in two. Trouble awaits near the green as the entire right side of the green is protected by a rock wall which will likely leave an unplayable lie if hit right. 17. Par 4 - 279 Yards The drivable 17th requires an accurate tee shot or the approach into the green will be extremely tricky. Depending on where the pin is, the miss off the tee will be very important if you want to make 3.

This looks stunning, buddy - one of my long deleted projects of a similar style was called The Rusty Pitchfork but you've done a better job of getting that style than I ever would. Looking forward to this!

I really enjoyed the rolling slopes, and undulations. Hit some very enjoyable shots while I made my way around! Nice job

The fairway shapes are beautifully done! Really fun course that kept me engaged the whole round. It was nice to play a well lit course too. Some of the “bunkers” off of the green looked like little patches of melting snow… not sure if that was your intention, but it was a classy touch for sure.
