Welcome to Alerassa Palms! The course is very scoreable on default settings, however just as much focus has gone into the playability at maxed settings - especially getting the greens right up to the edge! If you can break par on max firmness/speed, then you must be doing something right!

Oh man, I'm in early for the follow up to Sussex Downs and the routing is as unique as Sussex Downs was fun.

This one is an entirely different beast, I set it up Firm/Firm/V Fast from the tips on Pin 4 and if it wasn't for the 7 I carded on 3, I'd have a - in front of my 2. This place will absolutely drive Plat guys up the wall if R4 was VF/VF on the greens, they're just stupid fast. Even when you try and roll one up by landing it 30 yards short you're rolling off half the time, oh and you should update your sig brah.

All for this kind of beachy look on the edge of the fairways. I think you could've sunk down the planting a bit better though.

Yeah, loved this one! Golf was great fun and the greens played superb, and the environment worked a treat. Really cool run-offs into the water too! Great work. I don't want to talk about how I ended up +6 thru 3 holes but I played pretty poorly...

The course is surrounded by sand but almost felt bunkerless at times? Weird to say but true. I counted maybe 5 greens with bunkers on them, and even then they weren’t the real threat. Managed to 2 putt par myself to death there for a while, which I’m sure was the intention with these greens. Thought it was fun that they are all similar in shape, but sit differently and offer new challenges every time. Really fun layout with views for days across the palm oasis in the sand pit. Curious what the inspiration was, and also curious about what I found back by the driving range. Early concept hole for what the course might have been? RIP...

Yeah, I found it very difficult to hole any putts on the greens. I scored higher on this course in testing than any of my others, I think that has to be down to the greens. The inspiration was initially Pinehurst, obvious right? The sand was initially all waste areas, but got halfway in and couldn’t get it looking right. I then started looking at some courses in Dubai that they play on the European Tour and bumbled my way to this. Not very methodical. I’m glad you spotted that hole! I made it after I finished the course. I was going to make another 18 that was short and narrow with small greens - I had plenty of space and meter left. I quite liked the first hole but thought it was time to move onto a different plot.
