First post, first course submitted and now approved. Huge thank you to the YouTube and Twitch content creators for introducing me to this game and community. Anyway, in an attempt to create something I haven't yet seen, Black Orchid Refuge is a reversible 9-hole course set in the suburbs of Minneapolis. The benefit of this being a video game is that you always have the course to yourself and you can make the turn to play the course in the other direction without hitting into anyone coming in behind you. It plays and looks very different from both directions and features a lot of water and trees, similar to the land of 10,000 lakes. Distance and angle control are at a premium as the course is well bunkered and the tree lines are in play if you are out of position. Each of the 9 greens are extra large and well undulated to accommodate both directions of play, inspired by the large triple green at Edinburgh U.S.A. in Brooklyn Park, MN. The course features an expansive clubhouse and practice area, a maintenance facility (for/with Jerry), an upscale suburban neighborhood, a couple large mansions across the lake, and the distant Minneapolis skyline. Thanks again to everyone here. Enjoy Black Orchid Refuge!

Looks really solid. Gonna recommend this one to WhatAboutAmeobi for his stream - him and his chat full of experienced designers should be able to provide you with some great feedback for the future. Again, course looks really solid.

This played pretty well. Nice environment, hole designs were pretty solid, greens were fair. And I shot -9 so…bonus. Definitely 2d the recommendation for Ameobi to give this a go

Thanks, that would be awesome. I've watched most of his YouTube stuff and caught a couple streams, definitely would be awesome to see him play it.
