Andongo Village (Angola) is open and ready for play. Located in central Angola, in the shadows of the Black Rocks of Pungo Andongo and Kalandula Falls, the Mbumbu tribe have proven very competent in golf course construction. Due to impassable and decrepit roads in the region and its virtual inaccessibility, only one known Westerner has played this course. If you happen to stumble upon Andongo Village on your hiking trip to the Black Rocks and Kalandula Falls- it may be worth your time to squeeze a round in. The recommended “greens fees” is a donation of one goat. Specs- Par 70 (4-12-2) 2 sets of tees: Black- 7050y; Red- 6840y Green Speeds- Default- 179 Designer Notes: There are no pin sets that are easier or more difficult than another. Soils of this region of central Africa are characterized as very fine sand and drain immediately (greens have been designed with this in mind). Based on my research, Angola is noted for 5 things- Big Rocks, waterfalls, moon surface valleys, prisons, and guerilla warfare- so there's that. karma4u if you could perform some Magic for me, it would be immensely appreciated! Thank You!

Just finished this absolute stunner!!! Hands down in my top 3 courses ever played on either TGC games! Even had an ace on first par 3. There have been so many amazing courses dropped in this contest but I would have to give this top honors!!! Extremely realistic course. I completely felt as if this was a real course and pictured myself playing here. Vic your gonna have plenty of great pics to choose from. Thanks for creating this beautiful course and best of luck!!!
Cheers! Jeff

Dude @!$# yes! You did our country good! As I told you this location with the black stones was my back up plan but zo know I wouldn’t have done it as good as this here. This was well worth the wait and a great entry! Congrats and good luck! Hopefully I’ll join you in the main comp!

Very authentic feel to the course. The use of rocks looks fantastic against the stark savanna background. I was sympathetic to the cause of the locals and wore their national colours for my round. Struggling with the greens and leaving a few out there my round was going OK until the majestic falls on 14 caught my eye and took my focus from my approach shot which cost me dearly. My caddy took me on a safari to find a drop zone but we ended up on the river bed. The shanty villages along the way added to the realism of this wonderful track.

Cracking course, David! Well done Tell you what, I don't think I've ever seen a more well-done waterfall in this game. Even mattyfromcanada was impressed... right Matty?

Whoaaa! DD, absolutely fantastic job. This environment was incredible. Angola seemed like a tough challenge for a golf course but you hit the damn ball out of the park. Have only played one round, but can't wait to take another spin around and check things out again.

Looks solid as... a rock... **pause for laughter and applause**. Seriously though, the preview shots look fantastic. I will try to get in a round on this one later.

Well done! Trying to play a bit more of these that I have missed. What a tough time it’s going to be for the judges. Really loved the rock work and the waterfalls that were in the distance and not “right in your face”. Really liked how your green designs were done. GL on the contest!

I love this contest- trying to create an appropriate environment and create something that I wouldn't of otherwise considered. I did cringe on my initial research when big black rocks and waterfalls were the two main topographic features of Angola. Figured this would be a @babybull wet dream. Utilizing the rocks and falls as a backdrop (distance) to the Village and golf seemed a better plan for this contest.
thanks guys for the kind words!
