I may have played my best Tournament of the year so far. Was able to put up rounds of 59 60 59 58 for a -52. If this doesn't get me a Top 5 not sure what I have to do. (get more birdies probably!) There are over 3000 plays of the course on PS4 and -13 is like 7th-10th on there for all time best. I was able to average -13 for all 4 rounds. We will see how it plays out.

My tournament pretty much ended on the 2nd hole of the 1st round. Got stuck in a unplayable lie that took 8 shots to finally figure out I needed to hit a pw 3/4 front shape aiming across some green on another hole and got up and down from there for a 10. Played the rest of the round angry an got it to -4.
For some reason I played round 2 still angry at round 1 and got a double bogey and another bogey from birdie putts that were 6-10 ft away. Finished - 10 for a -14 for the two rounds for what looks to be my first missed cut of the year.

I finished at -48. Had a -9 on the first round but got better after that. Well played with your-52 Tim, I think you have a very good chance for a top 5 with that score.

Went 58, 62, 61, 64 for a -43. Started off strong that first round but couldn't quite repeat it going forward. Started the 4th round T-2 on the XB1 leaderboard, but it went downhill from there. I played the par 5 2nd the exact same way I had played it in the first 3 rounds but for some reason this time my 2nd shot clipped the top of the tree and dropped into the lake. From my view I had cleared the tree just fine but apparently not. Put me in a major hole right off the bat and I couldn't even get back under par until the 7th. Finished solid on the back 9 to finish -8 but the front 9 was a disaster.

Played all 4 rounds early (sunday) this week as struggling to get time in the week. 61-59-62-59 struggling a bit since the update have a few holes a shots a round that i cannot get my head around how it got there (must be missing something). Which spoil any chance birdie. Also puttings a bit rusty with not much practice of late. Missed 3 putts in round 3 from 6 ft or less lol. Had a 7ft putt in the last round jump up over the middle of the cup some how. Didnt look like a fast putt. Will post if i find out how to as i hit the share button on my ps4 for the first time ever. But would of taken my score before the week so happy overall as i didnt expect to play as well throughout -47 total

Been playing the game for a good while and felt I was pretty decent. First official tournament last week after finding out about TGCTours was very poor. Struggled in the wind, missed cut. Much better showing this week. 59-58-61-58 for a -52. Looks like a few have shot this already. Missed a 15 ft eagle putt on 72 hole for -53 after holing out from fairway for eagle on 70th hole!. Oh well either way glad to be playing well again! Lot of fun.

Definite top 5.. That is the target I set for myself... but just can't get a handle on this course

An unbelievably frustrating tournament for me. It's my 3rd since joining tgctours and for the first time, I thought I had a chance to contend after two mediocre finishes to start out. I have a good feel for this course which showed in a 57 practice round. I don't know what was going on with the connection, but in my first round, it randomly kicked me off after 18 and then put me back on #14 after reconnecting. My score went from a 58 to 60 after replaying it. My next two rounds were then off and on with some issues with less than 100% swings which I've never had a problem with. Still had myself at -36 I believe going into round 4 with a chance to still get around -50 with top 10 finish potential. The round was instead killed with weird connection issues again, capped off with me getting stuck under a wooden bridge on...15 I believe and having to chip on top of it to be able to get out. Nailed around a 35 footer to save double. Safe to say the 4th round was a terrible 68 that plummeted my hopes of a good finish. All in all, I'm pretty frustrated because this course has fit my eye for than any I've seen so far and I could use a nice finish to get up in some rankings. Not sure what was going on Sat. morning with the connection, but I saw a few other ps4 people say it was screwing with them a bit. I should've quit after getting kicked out of the first round, but I rage played all 4. Oh well, I really love that course. Really nice setup with some fun holes. Great playing to the guys above that got over -50.

Playing this course in practice my average over about 12 rounds was -11. So I gave myself a target of -48 (4x-12).
Started off, winds were reasonable 4-6mph. Decided to Ghost ball Doyley's. It was a very frustrating round 1 as I was putting for birdie on every hole but could only manage 8 of them to find the cup. Another 8 lipped or just barely skimmed by. Very disappointed -8 (64).
Second round I managed to make a few extra putts, but I was also scrambling a bit more with a few errand shots, still -10 (62). Doyley had a bad second round an I thought I could pick up a few shots on him but couldn't do it and I was 12 shots back after two.
At this point I was considering taking a break and coming back. The wind had increased to 8-12mph but it had also turned a bit and now was very favorable to a couple of the par 5s so I figured, what the hell and continued. Birdie at #1 with a beautiful shot to within 11 feet at #2 got me to a quick -3. After that I could not miss and did not miss a birdie putt until #12. At this point I was -12 after 12 and feeling good. By the time it was over I had scored a -18 (54) and was suddenly 3 shots behind Doyley. I had never shot better than -14 on this course and even that was with a hole in one and a chip in eagle. I was holing putts from everywhere and missed only one birdie putt all round. To date I would say it was my best round I have ever shot. Sadly it came too late.
On to round four and reality struck me upside the head. I just couldn't get anything going and limped in with another disappointing 63 (-9) for a total of -45. In the end I played my average. If it weren't for that one amazing round I would have been well below it so I should feel thankful for something. I left way too many putts out there and that to me is the mark of a good course. The difference between the -8,-9,-10 and the -18 was simply putting. Had I even made 1/2 the putts I lipped out, I would have been in contention for the lead.
Oh well. Time to get fired up for the Match Play Championships. Good luck all.
