Ladies and gentlemen, I gladly announce the grand opening of my National Treasure entry, Dilmun Golf Club.
Sitting in the middle of nowhere, where nothing lives or grows, I decided to build the biggest and newest jewel of the Bahrein golf scene. 7400 yards of pure pleasure and joy. Five tees and four sets of pins to suit everyone's likings.
Note to society presidents:
The greens can handle 187 speeds, they've been tested
Note to society presidents 2:
The greens have been tested by me, so if you need to blame anyone...
Note to everybody:
Enjoy the course

This course is cruel and I love it! The moody lighting feels like a sandstorm could be coming in anytime and I better hurry and finish up my round

Just when I thought your courses couldn't get any better... This is every bit the equal of Mare Nostrum, Pablo. You've nailed the look and, while the course seems quite bare (I hope you don't mind me saying), it works well and - for what I know - fits Bahrain well. I play with tempo off and shot a sneaky -10 out there on my first go, but I definitely said "F--- you!" a few times when I saw where the back right pins on 17 and 18 would be located. The bunkers were well done with a similar "F--- you!" element as they are quite deep. The lighting was definitely an interesting choice, but I think it worked and, as Q said, it felt like a sandstorm was approaching. Another thing I'd imagine people won't pick up on so much are those textures - they work very nicely and the contrast between the lush green and the rugged desert terrain was perfect for me. If I had a tiny bit of feedback here because I can be nitpicky , I think a few of the bunker sides were a bit too steep for my liking, but that wasn't too much of a problem. You might get dinged for the relative bareness of the planting, but that wasn't a concern for me. Great job, buddy! Good luck in the contest, you've done a cracking job with this one. Definitely gonna head back out there tomorrow

I don’t envy the draw you got but you really made it work. The low level planting was done great to seem natural and not dull or boring. Game gave me high winds which intimidated me going into a Pablo course but I was able to be a good amount under par from picking up on some good strategy you had going on as well as some luck here and there. Difficult draw that you pulled off nicely here!

Yep, that's a cool environment you created. The lighting was bold - I've got a sandstorm blowing in my head, I'm seeing many colours but the only one that's coming through is red (fasts). Name the band.
Great job, good luck!

I think this is what the contest creators had in mind when they wanted people to use the available tools in clever ways to come up with unique environments. The way you did the lighting, clouds, and fog/haze settings created a very unique feel to this course, and was very immersive in it's effects. I really felt like I was on the course at times, and caught myself just staring in the distance as the sand storms rolled by and exposed blue skies behind them. Really, really well done Pablo! I also felt like it was not an overly difficult course, as I have come to expect from you. Favorited this one, and will be back for another round soon!

Yup, the lighting was a last minute change, and i'm really happy I made it, because it looks amazing.
But I don't build difficult courses, don't know where that comes from 😊

Fun course, nice atmosphere. Especially with the dark clouds. One of the better desert courses I've played in a while.

I hope you enjoyed your round I did, Pablo, and like I said I might in the video, I enjoyed the course more when I watched the play through back. It's a really cool environment you created there, especially with the sand storms coming in!
