Back for the first time in 2k21, I present Upton Hollows, a beautiful parkland challenge somewhere in fictional English countryside. Water challenges the player on 12 holes of this 7300yd par 72 course, with many holes featuring risk / reward elements. 4 manipulated tees matching with the pinsets give different challenges, angles and hole lengths. A SW wind is likely to play the toughest, while all tee and pinsets have their own quirks..... Greens run at a nice quick 173, but can be played at 187 if you wish.....
(Weather settings are morning clear - but plays fine at most of the others - would advise against overcast though (gets rather dark!))
Pin 1 Red
Pin 2 Gold
Pin 3 White
Pin 4 Blue
Thanks to Q and b101 for their comments and suggestions (even if I did ignore some of them!)

Very solid course. I will say water plus the new swing plus high winds does nothing for the golf ball supply lol. Deposited a few Titleists in the drink here. But the course itself was good. Fairways were solid, bunkers well done, greens were fair and played well. May have to come back and try this again with less wind to really get a good feel for it but it’s a keeper for sure

Thanks for the play and the comments - and yes, this course, which started as a 'nice gentle test' (in my head) ended up as a bit of a beast!
One of my last playthroughs before publish saw me finish with a legit 10-2-8 finish! (ie trying my best every shot)
There's a lot of 'yeah I can make that' shots......followed by 'oh no I really shouldn't have tried that shot'.......usually then further followed by 'oh my God - where the F has the game decided I have to drop it (or reload) out of the water'

4-5-6 have to be one of my favorite front 9 stretches of holes I've played in a while. Par 5 up the water, Par 3 over the Par 5 green and the Water and a driveable par 4 if you have the wind and balls that hang to the floor.
Edit: just noticed the fringe is light rough, muah! Beautiful. I was already planning to put this on my PC societes [The Pro-Am World Tour] schedule as a weekend 4 rounder because of the manipulated tees but this just put it over the top.
Holy sh%$ 12-13-14. This is a gem. An absolute gem. Everyone needs to play this, make this a Promo event.

Wow - Thank you for the comments - glad you liked it (a lot)
14 will be a marmite hole for sure - but like most of the holes, there are lots of options......

14 will be a marmite hole for sure - but like most of the holes, there are lots of options...... No problem, I ended up going Birdie-Birdie-Eagle to finish out 2 over and those are great holes as well, 3 stretches of memorable holes here, the course is tough but its tough for the guy with balls, theres pleny of options like on 14 where you can go from anywhere from 190 to 300 and have a handful of options off the tee, sure theres water everywhere but thats why theres options, you can reach it in 2, but you need balls you can get there in 3 pretty easily, all around I think this is perfect for a promo event because it rewards the accurate perfect hitter and thats what the meta has thankfully become and should help move some of the people who played the perfects and fell behind a chance to jump quickly. I'm not one of those people, but I can judge a course on its character and desired skill level and land on this being tailor made for a promo event.

I understand that water hazards are a part of golf but I found this one unfair and unnecessary
