No write up this week unfortunately, 3 big assignments to finish and 8 days until the deadline. One is pretty much done, one has a little issue but should be ok, but one is being a very naughty boy, so the next week is going to be a bit busy. Anyway, this week we have Lost Preserve by golfwolfuk a fantastic course that will bring a different challenge from last week and for those that make the cut, a special surprise because after a 5 month or so winter holiday, it is back and ready to blow, yes indeed say hello to your friend and mine, the very high wind. But don't worry if you don't make the cut, because before he goes on his summer break, he has promised to make one more appearance in a couple of weeks in the early rounds so no one feels left out. So with that joyful news, have fun and good luck.

I should have just made my first cut since returning to Kinetic. -22 through 2. First two rounds playing pretty easy. Left shots out there, but also chipped in 3 times and made a few bomb putts. Looking forward to the very high winds

SUCH a good course and great schedule here, Dan. Loved the call to move up a tee in Round 1 and kudos to Jamie for making those still play very thoughtfully. My first round back in Kinetic for a long time - haven't fancied getting stressed over playing the game competitively but had to leap in for this. -9 in R1 was a load of fun and whilst I'm sure others will go much lower, it was just a blast to feel like I played well on a great course and was rewarded. Can't wait to play the next three, regardless of whether I make the cut or not.

It turns out, the very high wind is my pal. We had a great time. -13 thru 2 rounds might leave me outside of the cut, but -18 on the weekend made me feel nice and warm inside!

Judging by the low scores everybody loved this course. It is a nice track, but I was having the worst putting round in forever; I rage-quit after a 6-putt on a par five on the backside. I'll take the two demo marks and run for the hills thanks.

Well, Victor Lane’s slump continued on arguably one of the absolute best courses in the game, and it may be the end of his season on Kinetic.
I was -6 and without a bogey through 30 holes, but I knew that wouldn’t make the cut, so I just pressed a little too hard to finish as high as possible to avoid a demo mark. Unfortunately, a red fast got my tee shot on 13 in R2 and ended OB, leading to a very losses off triple bogey, so at that point my “give a damn” was busted and I limped in.
I actually played really solid until the bad tempo on the 31st hole, but I edged about ten birdie putts that didn’t go in. I don’t do well when I know it’ll be a really low cut number.
If this is the end as I believe it is, overall I had a good time up here this season. I’ll do my best to get back through promo events or CC-A promo marks.

First time playing in 4 weeks after fracturing some knuckles on my mouse hand, was +1 after my first 9 but battled back to hit -5 on the back 9 for a -4 for round 1. Then round 2 might have been my best round of online golf ever, went -7 for the front 9 and followed it -3 on the back 9 for a total of -10 for the round and -14 for the tournament so far. I'm hoping -14 is enough to just sneak in and make the cut, but still quite a lot of people to do their second rounds.
Really enjoyable course, lots of scoring opportunities but not gimmes either - still have to play some good shots, especially on the firm greens.

To say I was rusty was an understatement, feels like if you dont play even for a week you just get out of whack completely.

Damn. Missed the cut by 1 because of a measly bogey on 18 in round 1. Stings a little bit. I really enjoy the competition I get from being here on Kinetic. 12 weeks, and currently no marks either way. Really takes me back to my high school and college playing days of trying to put together a solid week. Thanks everybody here on Kinetic, and all the admins for the great thing we have going here.

I really try a lot harder when it's a course I love. Finished -40 for my best showing in a long long time
