I was scouring the leader board and I had several thoughts, but I'll highlight two.
1. There are a lot of Canadians playing. I find this interesting
2. There are more people that have consciously selected England opposed to The United Kingdom. I also find this interesting.
I played rugby with the Canadian national rugby captain in 93. Good bloke. Gregor. Drank lots of beer. Also participated in a beauty contest we had.... we had to dress up as chicks, makeup etc, and go up to the rugby clubrooms full of loud rugby heads, and prance around... apparently a video still exists. I like people from Canada since then.
Why England and not United Kingdom? How many people who select UK are actually Scottish/Irish/MaoriIrishFinnish? /ducks

Since Americans are ego-centric, can we just change it to US and "not US"? US Flag, and maybe just a blank space?

I LOVE the fact I can choose Scotland. I dislike whenever I have to put my country as UK.

1. There are a lot of Canadians playing. I find this interesting Canadians are golf mad. We also have a stupidly short golf season. So a golf video game that came out over a particularly brutal winter? Winner Winner Backbacon Dinner!

We have quite a strange identity, I come from England but also if you want to add Wales you could say I come from Britain. Oh and if you add Scotland, Great Britain... Or add Northern Ireland you could say I come from the UK. Personally I think partially due to football being our national sport (unofficially or not), we compete as England so I see myself as such. There is also a lot of competition between the countries so we like to distinguish ourselves I believe. Looking at the masters leaderboard there were 3 English in the top 8 plus our friend from NI. Proud to have half British representation (from UK... So confusing) in there, but slightly more so for my fellow English I guess. Question for you... If American was an option (or North American) could you imagine choosing that over Canada (or US if any of you are from there )?

I think it would be cool if those of us from the US could actually choose our State flag. But I can see how that could become confusing as I'm better at recognizing International flags than I am at recognizing State flags. Can't imagine how difficult it would be for someone not from the US to figure it all out.

I am welsh but i dont mind being british. Cultures generally distinguish nations hut beyond accents which seem to change every 10 miles or so there is nothing much to tell us apart. I work with scots english and irish too but we all the same way really. canadians are the closest ive felt from abroad to us. Lik amercians but more laid back i guess. I love americans by the way
