Hey everyone! Stone City Golf Club is my newest creation just published today.
Stone City Golf Club is a fictional course set in the rolling river valleys of Eastern Iowa USA. Inspired by many courses in that area. Stone City Golf Club is a parkland type golf course, with lots of trees and lush grass. Situated near the site of the remnants of Stone City, an 1850's Limestone quarry town, now abandoned, but open for tourists. Stone City Golf Course is a relatively easy track, playing at just over 7000 yards from the tips. A par 71, with only 3 par 5's. If the wind blows it can become more challenging, but in low winds Stone City is an easy, relaxing golf course.
I spent many hours on this course, and at it's completion felt rather underwhelmed. I enjoyed building it immensely, but by the the end I felt the look was adequate, but it lacked both in strategy and challenge, a part of my designing that I need to work on.
I would be very grateful to the community if you gave it a play and gave a serious critique. I'm open to being bashed:)
I design on console, so if the community photographer would help me out, that would be much appreciated.
This is my third published course. Thanks for the plays. Enjoy!

Played in on XB1 @pro, around in 68.
Nice course, sometimes 'underwhelming' is just fine.
Was a little odd to see the clubhouse again so soon on #3, but you route how you've gotta route, right ?
Other than all the fenced tee boxes making me think there was horse jumping being set up, it was peachy-keen, and even that was whimsically noted.
Thanks for your creation !

karma4u,
Sorry for the community photographer crack. I know of your work, and I'm very appreciative of your willingness to help in this way. Pictures look great by the way. Thanks a lot!

Play through / review. There's a lot to like about the course and the use of the design tools. A little polishing and some extra strategy and you're on your way!

Lots to like here! I agree that with just a little more polish, you would have a winner. Looking forward to your next course
