Set in the heights of the Appalachian Mountains, this fantasy course combines steep elevation changes with nerve-racking shots over the cliffs and valleys of Grandfather Mountain. I hope you enjoy this design and leave feedback. Thank you!
A downhill par 4 starts you off with a drive that can easily go left into the lake.
Beautiful gardens line the fairways and greens, giving the course a professional, country club feel.
#11 again punishes anyone who is inaccurate off the tee. At just 120 yards, it is short but scary.
For me, 12 is the signature hole. A par-5, reachable in two, but beware the cliff.
A view of the 16th green and the short par-3 17th.
The clubhouse.
The lush grounds of the course include pools, tennis courts, a hotel, a practice green, and driving range.
The 18th Green.
GRANDFATHER MOUNTAIN.
An overhead of the course. ENJOY!!!!!

Hey dude, Played this course this evening and thought I'd share a few of my thoughts. This course has a great location and is a great spot to build a fantasy-style course!! The routing was nice for a par 70 and I was kept interested the whole round. The planting, while minimal, served its purpose. Looks really nice. The style of course fits with the location really well. Overall the views were amazing and I had a lot of fun playing your course, although there is a few things I thought were a little odd. The tree in the middle of the fairway on 3 was a little bit out of place and I got stuck right behind it on my drive (although I hit my approach to 6 ft and made birdie ). The bushes in front of the 9th tee obstructed what would have been a beautiful view down the fairway. Some bunkers were too big and seemed out of place when compared to the narrower, more waste style bunkers on some holes. From a reality standpoint, having greens 3ft from a cliff could create some saftey concerns! All of the par 5's were very long and seem to be long for the sake of being long.

Thanks for the feedback. I definitely see what you mean about the view on #9.

Play through / review. Sorry I didn't get this up earlier. I played it on Monday, and got a bit backlogged. Hope you find it helpful.
