Youghal Harbour Links by Scott Howard, on Flickr Youghal Harbour Links is a fictional design carved from the rugged coastline of this southern Ireland, Celtic Sea estuary. Measuring at just over 7,000 yards, this par 70 championship course will greet the finest golfers with a fair test of shot making challenges on and around the green, in one of the many deep bunkers found strewn throughout the course, or from the natural rocky terrain of this untamed land, archipelagos and tide pools. Golf purists will want to take on this relic in high, southernly coastal winds and firm playing surfaces to truly enjoy links style golf shots and the creative shot making it requires. Scoring opportunities are plentiful in fairer conditions and on the shorter par 5 18th. But beware if you stray from the fairway on this siren or you may find your way to the “Hell Bunker” where there is only one way out, back from which you came!
