Thank you for taking the time to do a play through. It is really interesting to see someone else play it....gives it a 3rd person perspective, literally. In answer to your query, I am not really experienced at all in the designer and this is just my 5th completed course. So I must admit it’s a bit rough around the edges. Sorry about that. I agree it does unfortunately look empty on the PS4. I play on a PS4 pro but design on a PC with a fairly high end graphics card. I have all graphics settings on Ultra. The difference between playing on PS4 and PC is night and day. The PS4 does not render grass until you are nearly right on top of it. Even though it looks empty I was over 98% on planting meter, who’d have thunk it? 😊 I couldn’t put any trees in the course to fill it out either as it would ruin the vibe in my opinion. I didn’t even really want the trees in the background but you can imagine how empty it looked without them. During the build there were more hazards in the fairways, including some more pot bunkers but one of the feedback comments I got from a beta of the course was that there were too many round pot style bunkers. The 13th for instance had pots removed and rock hazards removed so now the whole hole is geared around the second shot after smacking it off the tee with a driver. Which is essentially how I play this game on any course. Haha 😂 Unfortunately the course is short, even from the back tees, but it’s longer than the real Lofoten as I was concerned about the overall length. I’ve tried to think about it as much as I can and to the limit of my current skills in the designer, so it’s really a compromise I suppose. I hope it’s fun to play though. Thanks again for the play through. It was much appreciated 👍

Thanks again for the play through. It was much appreciated 👍 Didn't think about how different it would look on PS4. That's a shame that it didn't render how you envisioned it. I think I mentioned in the video, but I love pots - think I said I might have to change my name to WhatAboutAmeobi'sPotBunkers :-) Anyway, that's my personal taste. Do what makes sense to you. It was great fun to play!

It was great fun to play! I too love pot bunkers and I wish the game rendered/built them better, with the sod wall at the front. But if they were available .... then I’d probably put about 20 in each fairway. Haha 😂 Thanks again for the play through. I enjoyed watching it. 😊

mayday_golf83 thanks for playing the course Mr Day. I really enjoyed the stream. Just allow me to clarify one little point brought up at the end of the match.... ahem .....cough.....cracks knuckles .... wipes nose on back of hand .... and searches “The Swan Sanctuary” on Google Swan-related Questions Swans living on fresh water will typically eat pondweed, stonewort and wigeon grass, as well as tadpoles and insects such as milfoil. Swans living on salt water will typically eat sea arrow grass, salt marsh grass, eel grass, club rush and green algae, as well as insects and molluscs. I think that clears that up. 😂 😂 Not that I’m some kind of swan nerd but I did check online before placing them there and we have hooper swans that migrate to us in the winter. We live about 20 yards from the sea but I did think someone would say why are there swans in the sea..... And anyway, it was either the swans or a cow and I felt the swans fitted the vibe better. Hahaha 😝 Thanks again and keep on keeping on the show. 👍
