Just learned that Legend's Point is now TGC approved. Was hoping for "Tour Worthy" but I'll take it.

Amobei, Thank you so much for playing the course and posting the video review. I really appreciate all of your input. On the 18th, I was going for more of a tiered fairway thing that I guess didn't come off all that well for you. I struggled with whether or not to do it but in the end I decided to go for it because I hadn't really seen anything like that before and yes, thought it would be memorable in a good way. I had hoped the length of the course would be understood given that it is a par 73 - there's an extra par 5 out there. I appreciate the positive comments, but even more, I appreciate the constructive criticism that you give and I'll take it to heart. I did another several months back that was also TGC approved but it only has 50 some plays - I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. It's called Landlar Palm Bluffs. Thanks again.

Top shelf as always g. I think I have you figured out now. Hitting all your fairways. If anyone is reading this please delete gerek’s LPBeta off your faves and societies and play this version. I have a couple of pics of 18 I would like to discuss but they are in Twitter space. I hope to post them somewhere soon.

Loved it, Gerek. Greens fed towards pins nicely and we're mostly 'uncrowned', which I prefer. The 18th, while cool, just felt slightly out of place owing to the lack of rockwork seen previously. Some of my favorite plant combos were used, too.
Thanks for the course !
Ed.it ... A lot of the fairway traps were not in consideration (hit easily past) for my 286 driver, but it was a very low wind.

Gerek- it's good to see you promoting your stuff here on TGCT forums... you've been turning good stuff out for Casuals for awhile and I think you are one of the better designers that no one here has heard of. Keep posting here and you'll get a lot of great feed back!
My favorite part of this course were your fairway spline edges and transitions- made the course feel really refined. I wasn't a fan of the 7900y tees- Driver off every tee, every approach seemed to be 3i-3w. the course actually plays more strategic and thoughtful from the shortest tee set. longer holes generally reduces the number of realistic options the players have off each tee.

I really appreciate you giving it a look. You guys over at Casuals do a great job and thanks for adding a few of my courses to your schedule. I do see what you mean on the "more options from the shorter tees" - that makes sense. I thought the yardage was justified at par 73 but others have made the same point and I now see that it probably should have been shorter. I will keep all of these things in mind on the next one.

If you are reading this and you have been playing the Leg Pnt Beta course. Thank you for the plays but please have a look at this version. I published the beta so that I could get some feedback from those in my Driven By Design society. Several, subtle but significant, changes were made based on that feedback before Legends Point was published. I think that you'll find that this final version is superior.
