The honors course L Welcome to the honors course. The honors course is located in ooltewah, Tennessee just north of Chattanooga. The course is a 7482 par 72 Pete dye designed masterpiece. The course is ranked #28 in golf digest top 100 golf courses in the US. The course is known as the home of amateur golf. The course has hosted multiple amateur championships including the 1996 ncaa championship where tiger won the title by 4 shots after shooting an 80 on day 4. Golf digest wrote this and I quote “Considered radical in the early 1980s because of its acres of tall, native-grass rough, durable Zoysiagrass fairways and terrifying greens perched atop bulkheads of rock, today The Honors Course is considered a well-preserved example of Pete Dye’s death-or-glory architecture. Other than reducing the contours in a couple of greens (particularly the 18th) in the late 1990s, and adjusting the bunkering in 2008, Dye has left the course alone. Ps. I hope everyone enjoys the course and shoots well make sure you play the one with the L the other two have had pin location issues.

There are a couple listed and none contain the (L) in the course name as you have in the title of the post. Should I assume the yardage signifies which is the "correct" course?
update: Played a quick round (+12) and the greens are as tough as they should be. Just a personal preference, but I'd change the default time of day to lessen the shadows that are completely covering the greens and remove the few directly into the sun tee-shots, but overall a great job and really liked your details around the water. Thanks for sharing this legendary course!

I've seen numerous courses get posted in here, that don't seem to have a matching course in game. Not sure if names are wrong or the servers are taking forever to update, but it seems it's happening a bit more frequently.

Hey everyone I noticed that I didn’t make the version have a L at the end so it might have been confusing I just published a new version with the L so no one gets confused I hope everyone enjoys the course. This was one of the coolest projects to do and to get a course out that most people in this world won’t ever get to play

Played this the other night and enjoyed your recreation. Most memorable hole was a par 3 with full water carry. Can't remember hole no. Was in between clubs. 3H and 4 iron. Played the 3H with extra loft and spin but alas ran a little long leaving a tricky chip back down the green. Bogey!!! Found the greens a real challenge. Good work here. Thanks.
