Just played what might be the best traditional fictional course I've played to date... Shaker Valley CC. All I can say is wow and where the f*&k has this been sleeping? I might live upside down on the other side of the earth but did I miss something? Everybody book a tee time now and go play a round if you appreciate the traditional aesthetic. If you don't enjoy then there's something wrong! Everything from the undulating plot, the beautiful movement of fairways, the fast challenging contours on the greens, the suitably sized and placed bunkering, the colouring, the tournament objects and superb course routing gave this a "real course" feel. Seriously csugolfer60 well done!

I really enjoyed this course. It was brutal but a lot of fun. It almost made the top 50 list I put in the Architecture section. Again, hope Dario sees this.

thanks, blueblood1995 - this was launched an entire month ago, so given how many good courses have been launched in the last month with all the contests and such, as well as how fast the threads move as a result, no surprise it's easy to miss. Will definitely add to my playlist that I'm hopefully starting to catch up on a bit...

Dario didn't create a thread for this. He hasn't been very active on the forums recently but his (photoshopped) beautiful picture here says it all:

This was his entry into the dream team competition in December.

This is one of the best Dream Team courses in terms of well-done challenges. Not as good as Lost Preserve though...

And also since the highest ranked red course from the top 50 list I made was 11th whereas four blue courses made the top 10... Anyway, we needed a thread for this course so here we have it.
