Betty Heath GC is now published The Course lies (fictionally) between the coastal dunes and the pine forest plantations in the North East of England. A tight layout with views of the sea and, nearly always, other holes should make this an enjoyable venue. Tour Version out soon for Society use. 6901 yards off the back Tees 6545 yards off the middle Tees 5913 yards off the front Tees If you turn up the wind the Course plays very differently depending on the prevailing direction meaning that it provides good repeat playability. Many thanks for all the input on the beta from so many of you.

Tour version now published so that, once a year, the peaceful Betty Heath, echoes to the sound of happy golf fans! Perfect for Societies looking for a challenging, but sensible, test in a very scenic environment.

I thoroughly enjoyed this course Pad. Your environment is great and each shot was framed well visually. Also good fun golf to be had the whole round

Wow. Thank you to two masters of the game, Jimgem and Lessthanbread. To have your appreciation means a lot. I recommend turning the wind up a little, to both pick up the wild atmosphere of the place and to see the course bite back. Each wind direction makes it a totally different challenge which meant that playtesting never became a chore! I hope societies will find that a good feature over 2 or 4 rounds

Good looking course there and some wild hole designs to match. Little advice for you - on a couple of holes the planting of grass encroached on fairway/light rough surfaces, just take a little time to clean that up at the end of designing the course. Lots of fun to play though!
