Hey guys
Pura Vida
I created my first course. He is inspired by a trip in Costa Rica. It's a fun track in the jungle and beside the beach. There is some elevation and rivers to cross.
So envoy it and good golf !

¡Pura Vida mae!
After having lived in Costa Rica for 2+ years I was so excited to see something that would bring back good memories of my time there.
Since it's set in the jungle and near a beach, I'm going to guess it's either based on a part of Limon or Guanacaste? Maybe El Ministerio de Deportes can clear out some land and use your design as the blue print for their first golf course in the country?
Notable Holes:
Hole 5: An immaculate green awaits you on this par 3...crossing over a huge body of water on your tee shot shouldn't be much trouble, but with the wind not doing you any favors (no matter which way it's blowing) this shot is a little tricky to land. Account for wind and elevation and try and bounce it off the fairway and have it roll onto the green. Get close and you should be set up nicely with a birdie.
Hole 11: Opening drive is from an elevated fairway which is divided 180 yds in by a river. You are shooting quite a ways down hill with a fairway landing that will slant to the right. The second shot may throw you for a loop; while the fairway is straight on, it continues to slant to the right; the wind for me was blowing towards me to the left, which ended up putting my ball in the rough. So please, double check your positioning here as well. From there a simple pitch or putt will be required depending on where you land, making birdie an almost sure thing.
Hole 18: An interesting decision to end on a par 3, but a cute design nonetheless. A 4 hybrid or less is what you will need off of the tee. Even though this is not a demanding hole, I do think this follows the motto of Pura Vida (Take it easy and relax).
Thank you for bringing back some good memories man. I would suggest for your course design to go for a more shapely fairway design to add more personality to the course. The simple geometric style was a little underwhelming, but that's my only gripe.
Pura Vida mae. ¡Tuanis!
