Well...like some others have said....maybe I'll try skipping practice rounds. Played two practice rounds at -8 and -9.
Played R1 at -6 which I was content with. Then started rough on R2 going +1 through the front 9...went into playing frustrated speed golf, but managed to battle back with a 5 under back 9.
-10 for 2 rounds which is good enough for top 11 in CC-D at the moment.
Left a handful of putts out there and had some pretty bad approaches, but was excited about 3 eagles in 2 rounds.
Hole #3 has my number...bogies both rounds!
Looking forward to playing R3 and R4 tomorrow.

Best 4 rounds put together in a tournament this year and looks like my first top 10 (currently 4th) in A. 6 shots off the lead though...back 9 killed me on the weekend. In round 3 I was -8 through 11 and then finished with 7 straight pars. Was -7 on the front in round 4 and could only get to -8. Not sure what it was but my tempo kept going to crap on the back
-7, -11, -8, -8 = -34 for the week. I had been struggling lately so hopefully this is where I turn it around

well... had a frustrating R3 score of 70. Just could not get the ball close on approach shots. really mis-judged alot of roll-out. only 1 bogey, but struggled to get the birdies.
Bounced back in R4 with a 62... which looks to be good enough for top 20 finish in CC-D and a promo mark. Ended tournament at -22

-18 for this week in CC-J, on a course that will forever be one of my favorites from now on.
-6, E, -6, -6. Shot well and consistent enough into a very probable top 5 finish, which means this is going to be my first ever promotion! Been waiting for this for many weeks now, and it's finally going to happen!

I’m in CC-L and had my first taste of Top 10.
Started Rd 4 with -7 overall.
I got to -9 after 10 holes and then fell apart.
Had some bogies and then was at -7 again going into Hole 18 and the Par 5. I hit a nice drive and then hit the green on 2 but had a very long 60 ft putt. I’m getting better with long putts now and was expecting a 2 putt and a Birdie to put me at -8.
So what do I do? I short the first putt to about 20 ft out and then run past the hole on my 2nd putt. No biggie, I’m just left with about 5 ft for my par and a -7 and a Top 10. But I miss the damn easy short putt and have to settle with a 4 putt and a bogie and a -6
This has been a slow climb for me. Qualifying took 3-4 weeks to even get to the L tier and then was in and around the cut line and then was climbing away from the cut line but not quite in the top 25. But felt good with the improvements.
I finally had a chance for Top 10 and I think 2 promotion marks but have to learn on how to finish the back 9 in Round 4. Never take easy putts for granted when it can make or break you for a Top 10.
On to the practice Dry Runs for the next tournament.

Fellow CC-L, but nearer the bottom ... +8, but best total in a few weeks.
Not a solid front 9 in all four rounds, sadly.

Fellow CC-L, but nearer the bottom ... +8, but best total in a few weeks. Not a solid front 9 in all four rounds, sadly. Keep plugging away. You will get that course where things start clicking. On some courses and holes I can’t judge the proper approach shot no matter what I do and other courses or holes the feel and the look with the approach is comfortable. Sometimes when you don’t like a certain approach shot you play ultra conservative and then mess it up even more with a bad shot and then you have that partial pitch shot that I have finally left in the bag.

60th in CC-G, my main goal was really to make the cut so I'll take that. Missed a few easy putts but holed a few long range bombs, so I guess it evens out in the end. I think we'll see a lower score needed to make the cut at Royal Halex.

Super kudos to the Tour team for their statistical presentation, btw. It's the number one reason I was drawn here in 2019. Now to preview this week's layout ... Good luck out there !!

Most of my success was on back 9. Simply aimed for about 2 under on front 9 then attack attack attack the back 9.
