Hey guys. New to the forum and relatively new to design. (Call it a by-product of COVID lockdown thathas turned into a hobby)
I have two courses out and both have been TCG approved. Royal Punnetsville was my first attempt and although I still enjoy it and am happy with the aesthetics, I didn’t push myself with strategy and probably made it too long.
Slitchey Coast is my second attempt at a course and has much better risk/reward strategies. Greens are multi-tiered and will need to be approached from the right angle. Driver isn’t always the best option as it will often leave you with a pitch shot up or down hill or even in between clubs. Some holes will play very easy or devilishly tricky depending on the wind.
So give it a crack. It plays most interesting with high wind from any direction and any of the 4 pin positions will provide different challenges.
Apologies for lack of photos. PS4 player so if anyone can add some shots to this thread it would be greatly appreciated.
cheers

Played this twice now... really nice course... I think you’ve handled elevation changes particularly well. Especially enjoyed the run from 14 thru 18... and the 18 is a great challenging finishing hole (helped by the fact that I chipped in for eagle on my 2nd round!)... you’ve achieved a a good integrated environment too... plenty going on off-course - no wonder the large crowds seem to be enjoying themselves! Keep an eye on green size...one or two felt a little on the smaller side,, but all in all a really good course - I’d definitely recommend
Well done - looking forward to your 3rd course.
