In the day's early hours, a cool breeze flushes the Muskokan hills of Canada, but the temperate and tranquil state of nearby waters object. A conflict of nature ensues. As you await its settlement, a decidedly invigorating chill settles in the air, the damp mustiness of surrounding granite and woodlands assault the nostrils, and a shroud of fog arises from the midst of turmoil. The conditions have been set, unique though they may be, to the most exquisite and becoming of your destination of choice: Welcome to Petrichor Woods Golf Club. Behold this mixture of natural beauty and manicured oasis. Breathe in the exposed granite, unfettered slopes, and immersive setting. But beware the demanding routing, devious greens, and native southeasterly winds as you seek to impose your will on the scorecard. Take it all in β at Petrichor Woods Golf Club.
Thanks to ErixonStone for all your effort organizing this, and if karma4u has time to spare to improve on my PS4 screenshots, that would be amazing!
Green speed default is set at 8.1.
Good luck to all other contestants, and I hope everyone else enjoys their round(s)!

Good luck dude and keep up the great work.π Thanks for giving this a play, itβs always really helpful to see someone else go through a round on the course to see how it plays differently. I love all the videos youβve been doing for the rookie contest too, these are awesome! Iβm glad you enjoyed the round, too! The foggy conditions are intentional, but I really like how the course pops and contrasts that setting when the sun pokes through as well. Thanks again π

Looks stunning, I need someone to help me present my course when I finish like you have. Very well done, did you use Photoshop? I love the overview of the hole superimposed on the screenshots. Plus I want to design a logo for my course, any help would be much appreciated! Again, great looking course. I'll play this one soon.

I'm really no expert in presentation though, I'd consider many other designers' submissions far more polished. FWIW though, I use Gimp on my mac to create the hole outlines and overlays. And the logo was done with a combo of lines from Pages, and the words superimposed with Gimp -- although jayraygun has demonstrated way more prowess at this than I could dream of, so I would check with him! Hope you enjoy your round!

I streamed a playthrough with my judging notes this evening. Really liked the Canadian cottage country vibe and enjoyed my round a lot.

Thank you Lifeonaboard! I appreciate the playthrough and constructive thoughts on different aspects of the course, I agree though that sticking to the tighter, more realistic routing through trees areas, though very common in Canada IRL, probably doesn't translate as well as I had hoped it would in-game.

I very much enjoyed my round here! Strong entry πͺπ»! Really glad to hear that, thanks for playing! So many good courses this year, it'll be an accomplishment just to move out of the group stage.
