An early morning look set in the rocky marshland area of Cosby Tennessee; Westrock Marsh offers players an enjoyable round while basking in beautiful natural scenery. Surrounded by large pines, rolling hills and marshes, a premium is placed on hitting the fairway on tee shots allowing for good approach shots, many of which carry over water or rock wall elevated greens. The course offers varying natural elevation changes, bunker placements, water hazards, and green contouring that allow for many options on most holes. Solid ball placement will be rewarded - with a drivable par 4, reachable par 5's and multiple water hazard carry shots, the golfer is forced to think where they should place the ball on the landing area to shoot under par.
Not a fantasy style course with waterfalls and huge rock formations. Just a nice natural course you and your buddies would enjoy a round of golf at, while basking in the beauty that surrounds the grounds.
Sorry I dont know how to upload pictures, but give the course a go and offer up your feed back for design/layout improvements.

Don't let this one slip by because of the contests. Give it a play and some feedback.

The course was approved and added to the TGC Database. Super stoked for sure.
I want to thank the reviewers for taking time to your time to play, review and approve it. Also to Vic for adding pictures to the post on my behalf.
Feedback and constructive criticism on design improvements from this community will be most appreciated!
Thank you again!!

Nice first publish, a lot to like here. Enjoyed my round. I would say the biggest area of improvement needed is the bunkers. I think they need to be sculpted a bit more. Add a little depth and raise some edges up to make them look more realistic. I would check out any of the great tutorial videos from the community for help with that. I wouldn't put light rough around them either. I'm not aware of any golf course that does that and it doesn't look good to me, but that's just my opinion. Congrats on getting your first design approved!

Congrats on getting your first design approved! Thank you for the play and feedback. I’m relatively new to the designer and learned a ton from this course. I got the light rough around the bunkers from a Jerry Shields video or course of his I played. I won’t be doing that again on future courses as I agree with you. The cart path is another item id like to mulligan. Bunker sculpting is absolutely my weakness that I am working on. Again all constructive feed back is much appreciated.
