Situated 20 miles from Gamble Sands, Brandes Trail took inspiration from David Mclay Kidd’s work to create a sub 7,000 yard par 70 featuring five par 3s on less than 140 acres. Brandes Trail features two sets of alternating back tees (black and blue). Big views, wide fairways, and varying green sizes will keep you on your toes. I’ll see you out there.

Loved my round, some thoroughly unique holes that played really well. Cool look. Just super super fun to play.
DO. NOT. SLEEP. ON. THIS. COURSE.

Really loved the openness and minimalist approach on this one. The visuals were subtly excellent and the strategy was as good as anything I’ve played so far. For some reason, I kept getting a “Seminole on the Pacific Coast” vibe from this one. I don’t know if that’s what you were going for, but it was excellent nonetheless 👍🏻. Best of luck in the contest!
P.S. I loved those hole signs using the wind turbine blades! Super creative!

Thanks hallzballz6908 I went with the turbine to ensure console guys could see it from the tee. Markers don’t render that far away. I was going for eastern Washington so you got the pacific. I appreciate the feedback.

Great play through. Appreciate the feedback. Intentional on the inconsistent bunkers for wind swept look. The empty on top the plot was an XB ism. Considered it a mowed area. Thought about throwing a horse barn up there. Didn’t feel like waiting 10 seconds each horse.
10: Prevailing wind is a lot of fun, driver off the deck will roll on.
17: The markers were for the shorter golfers that can’t see past the mound (aiming point). You can stop after the bunker on layup. It slopes up.
Notes taken. Looking forward to the judges feedback. I’m looking at building a PC so hopefully improve going forward.
Thanks again! Good luck to the judges. Great courses all around.

It’s been a couple weeks and none of my DAM friends found the Easter egg? Must be the privacy fence.
