Is it possible to convert a 2k21 course back to a TGC 19? This would be for the purposes of a golf simulator.

I am no expert but I wanted to test edit something and took the 2K21 file back into the folder on the pc and it fired up no issues. I just reversed the LiDAR instructions for getting into 2K21.

I’m going to attempt this tomorrow. I’m curious to see if it’ll work and how the trees will appear in TGC19. The plan would be to get the courses published in 19 to play on a simulator

Let us know how it works... what simulator are you planning to use. I will have to look into them...

It’s my buddies setup, Skytrak. My payment is putting our home course in via lidar 😂.
So the conversion actually worked fine except all trees that were planted vanished. This makes sense since the new trees are exclusive to 2k21. I thought maybe they would work because as far as I know, 2k21 is not on a new version of Unity,
All things considered, I’m happy I can at least convert everything backwards but I refuse to replant everything, especially since the TGC19 trees are terrible compared to 2k21.
