I bet this has happened to someone else. I started putting pins on my 17th green and the would mysteriously “move” to the nearby 14th green. Then some of the pins on 17 were somehow saying 14.
anyone know the fix?

If you already have pins on the wrong green, delete them all. The pin issue is usually caused by the pin in question being close to the waypoints/lines for the other hole; the fix is to zoom as far out as you can while still having the "Hole 17: Pin 1" prompt active in the Edit part of the HUD menu and adding pin locations from there. You can tell that it is behaving properly by checking the numbers on the flagstick.

supergolfdude, did you happen to move the green "waypoint" after setting all of your pins? I had pins move on a me a few times when I did that so I just had to move them all back.

What Jives said - you probably have a dogleg ‘wrapping around another hole. Delete the hole (noting where you want waypoints, pins etc with measure tools first). Then, put the hole back down but move the tee so it’s no longer wrapping around - I.e. so that it’s a straight hole where the game can’t confuse the two holes and doesn’t think they overlap. Then, pin the green and move the tee back to where you want it. N.B. You won’t be able to move these pins without the same issue unless you move the tee again.
As a postscript, issues like this often tie in with shortcuts. Check that you can’t hit off one tee down the other fairway for a better angle/shorter approach as well
