Man, I so wish we had more plain brown grass rather than all the day glow and luminous yellow stuff.
Trying to plant a links course at the moment and using a brown bush to “brown it on up some” but it just doesn’t look right. My attempt at a Norwegian links is looking more like a ride in to town from Red Dead Redemption 2. 😂
And ... I wish we could manipulate the height of grass only, as in stretch it without increasing the surface area it covers.
I’m going grass loopy here.
Rant over .. 😊

It's a problem with every golf game that I've designed for - you can't really replicate tall grass over a large area a la Scottish links courses or something like Prairie Dunes. The game doesn't render grass unless you're pretty close to it, and even then, different grasses render at different distances so some of your planting can be seen but not all of it. If you plant tons and tons of grass, it can also hog resources and cause some stutter or worse, lag. Grass as an accent to other planting looks awesome. Grass as the base texture of your land does not.
While we're wishing, I wish we could use advanced edit on grass and trees to rotate them on any axis. In the old days we made some pretty rad looking trees. Yep, I said 'rad.'
