I am fortunate to announce that The Avalon Club will be hosting the CC tournament for week 15 from 12/28-1/2!! New Years golf at The Avalon. I can't believe it was selected, that truly honors me to host my first event. I went into this contest with the mindset that creating a course that can host a tournament is as much, if not more, of a priority than winning the rookie contest is, and we did it!

Loving the Jack Wagon Golf Club event at my course - set up by Pleated Pants. If anyone has the time give it a go.

Thank you for the playthrough and analysis. Your post-round analysis really did fit the idea of what I wanted this course to play like as I mimicked some of the ideas off of Cal Club. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Bumping this course as we are playing it on CC this week. I was just playing a practice round and the 17th hole jumped out at me this morning. Iβve played this course four or five times since it released and have a gold feel for quite a few holes but 17 had never stuck out but today the strategy of that hole hit me in the face and I canβt wait to play it four more times this week. Fair warning to all players...the back left pin looks safe enough but about 3β left of the pin runs off the green! Congrats again on getting Avalon to the tour mvpmanatee. Too bad you earned a promo to Kinetic π

It is one of my favorite holes too honestly, and a hole that will never get the attention it deserves.

I just finished a round on this course. Sadly, my golf game abandoned me and I hacked my way around the course to an 80. There is even a tree on #9 that I hit so hard that you may need to notify its family. Overall, I still enjoyed my round despite my poor play. I really enjoyed having options off the tee. I could hit driver but it wasn't always the safest option. I could club down and still have a reasonable distance to the hole (if I could find the fairway... silly me). I did have some trouble holding the greens on shots that I did hit well... but that could have still been me and not the course. Good luck in the contest! Reference that tree on #9. I think it has something out for me because I hit it again in Round 1 of my TGC Tours event.

Sounds like a well placed tree, no?

Eagled the last to finish 2 under par π. Loved the course and it made my top 50 courses in 2K21 (I've got the list in the Architecture section). Amazing ravine work and a beautiful set of par threes to match!

Amazing ravine work and a beautiful set of par threes to match! Thank you very much!! I have always loved the par 5 finisher - it allows someone to pull a decent round out of nowhere! Thank you on the feedback - I really focused on the ravine and mapping the layout to utilize it as good as I could!
