Anybody know of a way to change the compass on a finished course. I just built without taking the compass into account but would like to update with correct headings. Some body mentioned it could be changed in the lighting settings but I believe that only changes the direction of the light source. Thanks guys.

Might be a silly question but why do you want to change the compass direction?

I made a RCR and I just built in the default orientation.. so now when you play high winds with the course plays long when it should play short etc.. I know you can just call North / South etc.. but I may as well learn how to do it properly. So when a local plays the course the headings on the wind meter make sense.

Quickest way is to set your time at 7 am. Set the inclination so the sun is on the horizon. Then change orientation. Wherever the sun is on the horizon is east. After that only use time and inclination to adjust lighting.
Edit: orientation is compass direction. It Makes it easier to use the sun as a guide instead of adjusting and going back to check the compass, only to realize you went the wrong way.

Kenyon is correct. Orientation slider changes your compass directions. Makes sense in theory as well - East must be locked with the sun
