Hi all,
Just been checking out some LiDAR updates we are due to receive in the UK as the government is currently running a National LiDAR programme, and I've noticed there's going to be fresh data for all the courses I've already released on 2k21, this data will no doubt be more precise but also it'll be the most recent.
I don't however want to re-do the whole courses, F that.
I remember in Chad's tool that you remove the terrain file using the tool and put it back in whenever you feel like it and it returns to the right place.
My question is, has anyone tried stripping out old terrain files and loading new ones back in their place?
The data doesn't come out for a few more weeks so if no answer I'll give it a go and see if it works

Let's hope the data at inland courses is a little better.

Let's hope the data at inland courses is a little better. The LiDAR they released last year for the programme inland was superb, only issue was it took up A LOT of the object meter but that's obviously not an issue now. I had a quick look and we are due a lot of data very soon I hope, there's 4 courses in particular I'm very interested in though!

Really i looked at wentworth, sunningdale (both courses) and the Belfry couldn't find anything on them.I know someone has found some data on some inland courses so perhaps i was just looking in wrong places.Still got more than enough to keep me going how slow it takes me to do them.
