Ruffles have ridges. And they're good. But bunkers shouldn't have ridges. Those are bad. So, how do I get rid of these. They show up on some bunkers: But not others: I don't see a huge difference in the spline setups. Here's the ruffled bunker: Versus the bunker with no ruffles: Granted, none of this is end of the world stuff, but it just looks wonky when you're playing it:

It's the depth of the bunkers. The first one is flatter so it looks smoother. The second is steeper which causes that tearing of the surfaces. Bunkers that butt up to fairway or green are tedious to sculpt. Flatten that second one out and sculpt it back down in smaller moves and more gradually.

Thanks, I'll give that a try, although I have several bunkers with very steep faces right near the green that don't have the same issue. Just lucky with those ones I guess?
