Right, how did I miss this course?
Just played it - amazing plot and hole designs. Loved 4 and 16 - two awesome drivable fours. Great stuff!

However it was found, I’m glad it was. This was a fun round. Definitely a lot of strategy involved in your shots and punishing for not putting it in the right place on many occasions. And unreal that you got this done in 9 days!

I feel like I missed out because this course would easily have made the top 50 list I made before. I couldn't think of a course to play so I kept flicking through pages and pages of completed course threads until I found something I thought looked like a good course to end the evening. And... this was the result

Finally played this last night. Reminded me a little of The Matchbox Club but not an obvious template design. Loved the contrast of green against the brown desert backdrop and the dry water gullys worked wonderfully well to enable a believable course routing. Also enjoyed the elevation changes and views offered around the course. I found myself stopping on some tees on the higher ground just to soak up the views. Green contouring and speeds were spot on. Hole 16 could be the best short fictional par 4 I've played. Of course I tugged it a little left and ended in the sand but these are the type of holes that have me coming back for more. (There was a long downhill par 3 on teh front side which I also really enjoyed.) Well done Thomas. Looking forward to the Last Dollar Match Club.
