From absolutely nowhere to a promo mark in 2 rounds. -10 and -6 respectively in 3 and 4, -20 at the finish.
Got an ace on the 16th in the last round, after 3 bogeys in other rounds. How does that even happen?

I suck. E and -1 for -1 at the cut. I'll make it in but it's been a drag so far. 3 bogeys or worse out of 36 holes, and you'd think I'd be looking at a better situation than that. Sadly, not to be so far.
Oh well, still got 2 rounds to turn things around. I feel like I can do something to turn it around, although it's a big stretch. Just need a bit more luck on my side and shots to land better, and I think I've got some scores in there. Putting's been excellent so far, seems to be my strength lately. Didn't think that would be the case, but it really has saved me here.

Deja vu from last week: be somewhere close to the bottom of the cut line through 2 rounds, only to fight back close to the promo mark territory. Only difference is that this week I'll barely miss one and therefore, a promotion. Good showing in there at least after struggling so hard earlier.
-4 and -6 to round up to -11. That last round mystifies me as that's usually the one I'd put up the worst score at, at least based on the conditions of it.

68(-3) 67(-4) 69(-2) 78(+7)
Was at -11 after 2 in Rd 4 when the wheels came off with a bunch of water balls on Hole 5. I carded a 9 on that stinking hole. I tried to recover and manage 3 birdies afterwards but then found the water again on 2 more holes. I was trying to get to -15 after I finished Hole 2 but that turned into a nightmare.

-11 at the cut. Got nervous watching that -6 barely makes it in right now. -8 and bogey free in round 1 takes those nerves away quickly.
Round 2 could have been better, but high winds = trouble for me, so finishing at -3 is okay, acceptable. Left strokes out there by being dumb though. Just glad to be in better shape through 2 than the last couple of weeks, I can at least fight easier for some promo marks this week. No need to get some perfect rounds in for once.

On the wrong side of the cut this time. Though I was rather satisfied of my play with a nice mix of par and birdies since the 9th. But my mess at 7th and 8th cost me the week-end play.
Curious stat for the second round 14.3% FIR , 77.8% GIR...

I was -1 after Rd 1 as I couldn’t drop a putt.
I was having the same issues in Rd 2 up through Hole 14. I was just -1 in the round and -2 for the tourney. The cut line was at -5 or -6 and I had work to do to get to -6 with 4 holes left.
I birdied 15 with a good tee shot to bring to -3
On 16 I tried to go over the tree so I could cut the corner as the wind was flowing in a good direction and I hit that damn log in the bushes near the fairway. If I make it I’m probably 20 yards out but I hit it and stuck in the bushes with 69 left. My lie was about 65% and I just tried to power it out and was worried about hitting it over the green but I put the ball within 10 feet and get the bird to bring me to -4.
On 17 I hit it in the rough and was still 260ish out and used a 3 hybrid and just tried to stay in the fairway. I got great contact and got close to the green. I pitched it up to within 8 feet and got the bird and now at -5.
So now I know what I needed and that was one last birdie to sneak me in the cut line.
On 18 I go driver and put it in the side bunker and then splashed it up to within 3 feet for my 4th bird in a row and jumped over the cut line. When I was -2 with 4 holes left I was just determined to give myself a chance and don’t give up no matter how rough the first 32 holes were going. And my first 32 holes were not all bad holes. I just missed my landing spot by a few feet and the rollout put me further for longer bird attempt or when I did hit my spot I missed my bird attempt with edge burners. I think hitting the log on 16 and still having a shot to the green saved me. I could have hit the top of the log and it could have landed in a bad spot and the result is a bogie or worse. And once I got that bird on 16 I liked my chances because I scored well on 17 and 18 in Rd 1and liked the holes.

Finished at -27. -6 round 3, -10 round 4. Figured those would be flipped around in my head, I'll take it in whichever order they came from.
May have done enough to secure promotion, will need to wait and see until the event closes up. Either way, the finish of -5 in the last 6 holes would make for a damn good story should that be the one that gives me a promotion. I felt like I did almost nothing wrong during that stretch (even though I'm sure I actually did). Overall, good effort this week, whether it sends me up or keeps me here for a bit longer.

Any cut predictions for this week?? My guess is the picker factor on cut day will be worth 1 stroke so my final number is -7

But I see there are less players than usual and so my stat is biased. I'd say -6 should do the thing.

I've been playing in CC-H for a couple of weeks now and I think it's safe to say I won't be moving up or down anytime soon, so I thought I'd finally drop in here. I've only made the cut once so far, but I've also missed two cuts by one stroke and one cut by two strokes, so I'm pretty happy with where my scores are. I'm sitting one shot behind the cut yet again (-4) after my first round last night, although it might have been one of the ugliest rounds of golf I've every played. Only hit 4 fairways and 5 greens, but saved myself with some ridiculous chipping and only 20 putts, including a hole-out from 180 yards on hole 7. Hopefully I can straighten the swing out tonight a little and make another cut. Look forward to competing with all of you the rest of the season!

How are we travelling this week (Eddie Vedder Seattle Open) ?? Tricky course, especially with the wind in R1. I've gone 74 (gulp) then 64 to leave me at -2 after two rounds.
Current situation is there are 87 participants. Top 52 make the cut which is currently +3 after R1. However that should come in a fair bit after R2. Hopefully my -2 is good enough ! Going to be close.
