So I'm getting close to finishing my course and noticing around the edges of greens, there's a spot on each front side, where it looks really shaggy and unkept in about a 1-2 yard area around the rough/fringe area? I thought it might just be a course design glitch but when I went to play test it, it was there as well. Looks pretty bad if you hit near it and see it and it's literally on every hole on each side of the green. Any idea what causes this or how to fix it/avoid it in the future? Thanks Apologies if this has been asked before. Searched around and couldn't find it anywhere.

Was this course started in TGC2019 and ported as a legacy course into PGA 2K21? I've heard that can cause this issue.
One way to get around it is to encircle the green with fairway and use that as a de facto fringe.

Evangelist has that issue as well, I thought it was a "feature" in the new game lol.

Was too intimidated to try and make one in the previous games, but after watching many tutorials and trying to get the hang of things, decided to finally give it a go.

It'll do that at the end of the spline path. Make sure your first and last points are well within the green.

They are. Each side is like halfway into the green. 🤷🏼

Hmm I just played around with it and that fixed it for me. Maybe angle has something to do with it. Or hb is just doing hb things. I'll play some more tonight.

I'm guessing you likely planted the rough with either tall fescue or perennial ryegrass Those are cold weather creeping grasses and as we enter cooler months, this becomes an issue for many supers to deal with.

I'm not sure what you're referring to when referencing grass types. I'm just using the rough that was generated when I first created the course. Only rough I "added" was with the brush to cover up brown areas effected by tree planting and other elevation changes.

Are you lining up the spline points of the fairway exactly with 3-4 splines of the green at the transition? If this isn't bang on and both fairway and green aren't exactly the same path width, you'll find you get this issue. Here's a tutorial that helped me, make sure you smooth both paths after lining up so the transition is perfect, also make sure the secondary light rough is same width on both fairway and green: tgctours.proboards.com/thread/21544/green-fw-transition-easy
