Could you guys whom aspire to have your courses selected on Platinum (PGA) please design either tree lined fairway courses and/or strategically place trees in an attempt to fast-proof the course and hopefully stop all the crying and complaining in all the forum threads about people using fasts. Thank you. I understand your concerns, however, It's a very unappealing thing for designers to follow such rules in their designs. Plus there a more ways to guard against a fast swing than just trees.

I'm not understanding how exactly trees will help against people hitting fasts A fast starts out right of the tee box and works back into the fairway. A tree or something creatively placed about 100 yards off the tee to the right would interfere with that fast ball flight. You know they have a word for this in real golf, which people do all the time.

I’d get so immersed in my course that I would forget everything around me.
