Anyone else getting wavy splines for fairways? Doesn't matter what I do they stay wavy. No heavy rough brushes used.

Just another note: If you're working on a new course (as opposed to a port from TGC2019), then the wavy edges would not be caused by overlapping heavy rough. That has been fixed in PGA2K21.

I think that can happen if you put the splines too far apart This has been fixed in PGA 2K21. Feel free to draw long straight lines without fear of the squiggles! I should note that, if you are trying to create a smoothly curved fairway edge, placing that spline points too far apart will result in a curve that looks like several straight line segments. You still need your spline points close together to get a smooth curve.

Path width on the splines can make the waves go away as well. Bumb them up to a 4 width and they usually go away.
Always saw waves when placing a rough spline near a heavy rougn spline on TGC2019... those are a pain to space out far enough to make them disappear

I ported a course over from 19 and it did bring all the wavy lines over with it but that was caused by heavy rough brushes, deleted them and they straightened out. I thought that 21 would auto fix them without having to delete the heavy rough. I’ve also had wavy lines and patchy fairways once, in 19, when I had the land too close to the water table, at least I think that’s what was causing it as when I raised the land they corrected.
