Yes, the place to safely miss is pin high left on the 1st, decent birdie putt. I also put it about 6" from the hole the first time I tested it. 8th is fun too, but it's not bad if you play it correctly "not so bad if you play it correctly" - That, right there, is what it should be all about!

The tour version should be shown on the PGA Tournaments screen so people won't practice the wrong version. Thanks.

This is a good one. Really have to place your shots correctly.

Much more fair than this week's course. Only hole I have any issue with is 8 (I think). Short par 4 with divided fairway and makes stopping on the correct tier impossible, due to slope of green.

Very good course this week Haven't figured out how to get it close on 8. Tough little par 4

not a big fan of the pin placements on this one. most of the pins are on a 5 degree slope it seems.

The last few weeks have had me a bit bored... but this course should be how all pro tour courses are set up!! Outstanding job! I felt accomplished with a -4 on my first practice round.

Wow thoroughly enjoyed this course! Managed a -6 on first round with a triple bogey!

8 is tough - but I've figured out how I'm going to play it for the week. hope to go at least 1-under on it after 4 rounds.

I just started playing a practice round with DLW's course record -12 ghost ball. Already missed a 4 ft putt for bird on first hole ... smh. Started with 10mph winds so it should be a good practice, i kinda like 7-10mph.

No offense to the designer but I don't think this type of course belongs on this tour. Completely unrealistic greens. Bordering on a 'fantasy' course.
I dont have the time to do a dozen practice rounds on this one - WD

Those guys on tour don't get flat greens or cups always in a nice little flat square... hell, neither do the ladies. Watch the real Valero tomorrow, not much flat going on in San Antonio lol

When you land on one tier and then can't even keep the ball on the green when putting onto another is an issue.
