Used this for our little Society and it's a beauty. I'm a big fan of RCR's at the best of times and this is right up my street. Thanks for your work, straight in the favourites and it's a 5 star from me. Love everything about it. I'm no design critic but I know what I enjoy.

Bumping this because I was fortunate enough to play New South Wales GC (or La Perouse as it's affectionately known) on Sunday with x3 of my golfing buddies. A wonderful experience only matched locally by Cape Wickham and Royal Melbourne West. The terrain and routing is like nothing I've experienced. Half the course is situated on top of the headland and the other half drape across the scrub covered sand hills and valleys that sweep down to the ocean. Wasn't as tough a walk as I thought it might be. We were lucky with the weather, i.e. a beautiful sunny day with a light breeze. I made it to #5 green and all I wanted to do was go for a swim !! Below some pics I took of the iconic #5 from the plateau fairway section and #6 from tee to green across Cruwee Cove. Go and have a virtual round. That's so good. Looks like you had some decent weather for it too. I'll have to put a better effort in when I port this next time as it could definitely look much better with all the new rocks, textures, plants etc.

Lucky enough to have played this IRL a long time ago and it was blowing a gale. Did well to shoot +15. Playing this in very high wind takes me back to that day.

I've absolutely loved this course since it was in Links 2004 (and Greywolf in BC) and I think Heisenberg's version is top notch. I'd love to play it IRL (there are quite a few down under on my list) but having had close shaves with our 8 legged friends on my previous 2 trips to Australia and being a total arachnophobe I think I'll be sticking to the links over here! Got a lovely 2 week trip to Ireland lined up for a few weeks time including both Portmarnocks, Royal Dublin and Baltray (County Louth) so that should slake my links thirst for a wee whileπ
